I bought this for my 4 year old daughter for xmas. She loves dancing and jumping around so this is perfect. It tells you exactly what to do and lights up so yo know which circle to step on. There are different levels and can be played as a 1 or 2 player game. Its easy to snap together and small enough to store in a closet or set up on a shelf. Its very simple to use so its great for a small child to work on coordination or as a family game for game night. You don't have to do any crazy moves either just step on whatever color lights up. Its also simple to turn on and off with the push of a button. It does take batteries that aren't included.Bought for my 10yr old niece. She played it a lot for the first few weeks following christmas (more than other toys she got so it did make a great gift) but she has gotten too good at it too quickly and has since gotten bored with it. It needs a higher difficulty. It has 3 levels plus a free play mode but the first level is way too easy, they should take that out and add a harder one and I think she should still be playing with it.Fun game! My 5 and 7 year old kiddos both enjoy playing with this and I'm happy that it gets them moving. I have a few gripes though. This game doesn't work very well on carpet so my kids play it in the kitchen instead of the basement where I'd like for it to stay. It's also quite loud and doesn't appear to have a volume control... but overall it's a fun game and I would recommend it to others.I purchased this game for my 8 year old daughter who loves to dance. Based on all the reviews, I thought this would be a really awesome gift for such a dance lover. However, all you do is step on the different colored circles when they light up. There's no dancing involved at all. For the price, it wasn't what I expected. The hype of this toy lasted about two days and now it sits in the forgotten toy pile. Would probably be enjoyed more by a younger child in the 4-6 age range.Son lovesssss this!!! I felt like I was winning in the parent department when he figured out what it was. Which is like a home version of the arcade game "Pump It Up" that has those colored pads that light up to step on them & then a handle bar to hold yourself when u go ham. Getting him to be active isn't as easy with all the mind numbing video games, but this was a sure hit!The lights were in enough time for a 4 yr old child to step on the corresponding pad; however, it was small for an 11 year old who's shoe size is a 10W or anyone over 100 lbs.I bought this product and tried to use it. Three out of four pads worked; the blue one was not processing right... but overall it was really fun. I just wish I didn’t have to rebuy it.Purchased this for a Christmas gift. My daughter has seen this on tv and it was on her list immediately. Though I have not opened this yet. Just looking at the box and reading what it does is awesome. Will be good active fun.
