Beautiful purple game board, we just love itI used to have a nice backgammon set that I played a lot. This set is perfect for the money, very affordable and it is so easy that our 5 year old son was able to grasp the concept of the game. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is serious about backgammon or just doing it for fun. I can’t wait to play with some of our after school kids at chruch.The felt on my game is grey versus the rich brown shown in the picture which is why I did not rate it a 5. I had ordered the medium which came with a rich brown felt and decided to trade up for a large as the pieces were too small and was disappointed the felt is grey. Otherwise, everything else is good.Nice set, instructions and strategy guide included.This set is of nice quality and perfect size.Really happy with the board.Good quality and arrived promptlyGreat family gameI purchased this for my daughter-in-law who has taken an interest in backgammon recently. I was concerned by some negative reviews but purchased on the basis of the positive ones. My own set is of medium size but I thought perhaps playing with my three granddaughters might call for a large board.The black case is attractive and, as noted in other reviews, the points are nicely contrasted. The pieces have a nice feel to them as does the board. Everything required for a first-rate experience is there.the unit is expensive for what is received. Ultra light 3/4” plastic pieces and tiny dice,- this makes it difficult to play with and pick up pieces. Surprised to see no evaluations from Canada when I have previously written the same. Only kept it because it fits in a small drawer.The pieces do not fit nicely in the storage area and keep tipping over. You can only store dice on one side of the board because on the other side they filled in the storage area to attach a name plate. The name plate does nothing to help their product. Instead, every time you look at it you get upset over the manufacturers arrogance and ignorance and stupidity for doing such a thing. For $69.99 there are far better boards out there!Overall good quality. Two disappointments- The playing discs are too small and do not fit snug in the tray. The playing stripes are not at the edge of the board where they should be. Whoever designed this board and ordered the playing discs is not a backgammon player.It's a nice set but when you put everything where it goes it won't close which sucks.
